Provide project management and oversight of multiple project consultants in the preparation, review and development of traffic engineering plans, specifications, guidelines and construction documents. Assist the Maryland Transportation Authority in the resolution and management of various traffic engineering issues including roadway signing, signalization, lighting, pavement markings, electronic toll information systems and ITS components for the ongoing design and advertisement of multiple contracts for Section 100.

Developing a comprehensive preliminary signing plan for the entire Section 100 corridor and modifying that document as the project matured capturing the changes and distributing that information to multiple design consultants.
- Integrating electronic toll lane information systems amongst the required MUTCD signing and separating that information from the managed and general purpose lanes and implementing the same information along the local roadway.
- Coordinating traffic engineering issues between Maryland Transportation Authority, Maryland State Highway Administration, Baltimore City and Baltimore County to meet each stake holder’s requirements and assess impacts of Section 100 to local roadway systems.
- Preparing and distributing design review comments on a real-time basis using a centralized electronic file processing center.
- Completing the design and review of various traffic control devices to meet multiple overlapping schedules for the various contracts within the Section 100 corridor.
- Coordinating the shop drawing review process with the GEC and Contractor and Owner’s requirements during construction.
