Joppa Hall at Harford Community College Earns LEED® Silver Certification

Century Engineering, Inc. is pleased to announce our newest LEED® Certified Project: Joppa Hall at Harford Community College which has recently earned LEED® Silver Certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. Century provided Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Engineering for Joppa Hall. This project involved the phased expansion/ renovation and partial alteration/conversion of the 63,700 SF, one (1) story academic building. Joppa Hall is the first building in Harford Community College’s efforts to achieve sustainability and LEED® Certification campus wide.

Century will continue its’ goal to achieve an environment that is healthy and profitable. This is the first step in the new generation of buildings to emerge throughout the 21st century and we are proud to have our employees help to preserve the environment.
