This project involved a new 17,000 square foot church designed for traditional Roman Catholic use with high ceilings and open wood truss construction. An elevated choir loft area was provided above the Nave. A multipurpose room with kitchenette was also provided. Support spaces included offices, conference room and library. Provisions were made for a future small addition. Project features include:
- Multiple constant volume HVAC systems
- Split system HVAC equipment with gas furnaces and remote condensers
- Ductwork coordinated with open architecture
- Acoustical considerations in air system design
- Complete multi-zone architectural dimming system
- Horizontal and vertical illumination analysis
- 225KW generator provides full backup
- Coordination with audiovisual systems
- Coordinating exposed HVAC system ductwork with open architecture.
- Achieving appropriate sound attenuation.
